Certification Path

Good Afternoon!

I'm wanting to begin getting my certifications for Microsoft and I'm wanting to make sure I'm on the right path.  I've done a little bit of research and from what I understand, I should take a MTA exam first?  Is this correct?  I was looking at Exam MTA 98-365 Windows Server Administration Fundamentals.  Do I have to take just one of the exams offered for MTA to be certifiied for MTA?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey Keith

My advice would be to focus on the MTA track first as it will give you a good pathway into MCSA certifications!  I would agree the first one you should do is

    1. 70-365 Windows Server Administration Fundamentals
    2. 70-366 Networking Fundamentals
    3. 70-367 Security Fundamentals

They would be the core three   These would be faundamental before looking at MCSA, however you could do

    1. 70-368 Mobility & Device Fundamentals
    2. 70-369 Cloud Fundamentals

I have put a lot of stundets through the top 3 who have gone onto bigger certs.

    Hope that helps !
