MSIX: Runtime file performance
Not an issue that should be dealt with yet, but eventually must be. Packaged simple test app that sequentially reads a large file. Native test: 13.5 seconds MSIX: 46.1 seconds. Screen shots...

Program is a standalone exe (attached). Drop it in a package & make a shortcut to it. Also drop in a large file (I used a 7+GB admx file, but you can find your own). Default options used on the tool (sequential from front to end), Browse to the file and hit the load button.
