How to package with MSIX
How can I package the Device Guard2 signature and root certificate in MSIX and launch it in the MS Store?
I created a tenant ID and when it was signed or not, the MSIX packaged file could not be installed due to a certificate issue.
The system you want to install the signed package on must have the certificate itself installed into the system certificate store trusted roots.
If I understand correctly, this likely means that the system you are installing to must be joined to the tenant domain.
While it is necessary to sign packages in order to upload to a store submission, that cert is not used in what is published by the store; packages uploaded to the Microsoft Store are signed by Microsoft as part of the submission process. This avoids store apps having install issues because, well you have to trust Microsoft.
