Citrix and XenDesktop

Is MSIX and the auto update feature, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/msix/non-store-developer-updates, supported under Citrix Xen Desktop?  I.e. How would  that be done, do the updates have to be applied to the golden image, or would the users have permissions to perform the update?  I tried asking over at Citrix, but just silence there.
