Quest 3 headset is not recognising the QR code from Mixed Reality Link

i have installed the required app on the Quest 3 headset and windows, pressed the windows and Y key to bring up the QR code however no matter what distance, what angle, what screen, even screenshotte...

Hi, thanks for bringing this to our attention. 

The first thing I would look to verify is if Windows App is installed on your Quest 3.  If it isn't, then this would be the problem.  If it is, then would you be willing to follow steps 1 and 3 in this article for filing feedback?  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/about-windows-mixed-reality-link-4155d287-182d-4003-b189-b42a4e357fc5.  Please use the title in Feedback hub to be the same as this entry and then we can match it when we see it come in via FeedbackHub

    There is no Windows Mixed Reality App in the Meta store to install. The link you gave shows how to install it on your PC but you mentioned it should be installed on the headset too.

    Sorry about the delay both the app and the quest 3 updated recently and I haven't had to use the qr code, it recognises my pc just fine on boot up, very strange. I hope this qrcode reading issue doesn't resurface as it was very frustrating.
