Need to update graphics drivers
Hi,
when I open the Mixed Reality Link app I tend (explained later) to get the following message.
I have a laptop Acer Aspire 3 A315-57G (bought in 2021), with integrated Intel Iris plus GPU + Nvidia MX330. Yesterday I tried few things. First, I updated the graphics drivers from the Acer website, but nothing changed. Then, I reinstalled the graphics drivers from the Intel website (from my understanding the same I already had) and the error disappeared. Hence, I managed to connect the Quest 3 and everything was running smooth. However, today I got again the same error and cannot connect. I didn't try reinstalling again the drivers, but I can do it for testing if it can be useful.
Could I try something else? I am not an expert but willing to learn new tricks. Or is it maybe related to the fact that I have old hardware and it is not supported? It really seems an error related to the Windows app, since when the error was gone everything run smoothly.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi Rizzo, thanks for the feedback. Would you be willing to file feedback as described in this article? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/about-windows-mixed-reality-link-4155d287-182d-4003-b189-b42a4e357fc5. The second half of the document has what we are looking for. If you could just do the Step 3 in that document for filling feedback, we will see it when it comes through assuming you select all the categories in the article. If you would label your title of your feedback the same as this, then we can tie that FH entry to this Tech Community entry.
Thanks!

Hi, I waited a bit to answer while I was monitoring the situation. After a few days from the previous message I reinstalled the drivers from the Intel website and, since then, I have never had problems. I don't know what changed, but now it is working fine.
Thanks.
