Microsoft Classic Teams Still Showing as exposed Devices on M365Defender Admin Center After Updating
Hi Everyone, Good day.. Teams classic is showing as exposed in the Microsoft 365 defender Admin portal. But we have already updated to New teams in our environment.Intune report says its updated...
In my experience this one is a real stinker. If you've used the Teams Machine Wide Installer then you've an instance of the teams .exe in any interactively signed into user account on each endpoint. If that account hasn't launched teams (or maybe not been signed into recently) it'll have left behind an old vulnerable version in the user directory.
We've tackled a number of ways, automated cleaning up of disused user profiles etc, but across 1k+ endpoints thats going to be a pain.
