When will Teams Public Preview opt-in be available in the new Teams 2.1 client?

After users switch to new Teams client, there is no options to enable Public preview anymore as not able to locate "About > Public preview".
What is the plan/future of Teams Public Preview in new Teams client that will be the only option after 31 March 2024?

Shikha_Varshney I just noticed something appeared in my test account under "About Teams" in Settings of new Teams client that say Early access -> Public preview as below.
Would like to get more details on how this should work now or in the near future.
For now, when I select the "Public preview" tickbock, it didn't ask for Teams restart or signout/relogin as per the Teams classic. How do we know when the "Public preview" features will be available/activated? As that is no indicator of "EA" in profile photo or top left corner of the new Teams client.
