MS Forms in Stream on SharePoint

One amazing feature which we use alot is the embeded form (otherwise known as interactivity).

Will this be included in the stream on sharepoint as a feature in the future?

  • JPerryman88 and akimble  - There isn't support for Forms to be added to a video in Stream (on SharePoint) like there was on Stream (Classic). This is still on our backlog of features to add as we work on interactivity ideas for a Stream video.

Please add your votes and comments to this idea in the ideas portal:

Embed Microsoft Forms survey Feature on Stream (on SharePoint) · Community

    Workaround ideas:

    1. Add the video into the Form itself. MS Forms supports adding a video from ODB/SPO  into a question. Send people the link to the Form itself. Help article: Add a video to a question - Microsoft Support
    2. As Kevin mentioned, you could make a SharePoint page.
      1. Add a section to your page that's 2 columns side by side.
      2. Insert the "File viewer" web part to embed the video from SharePoint/OneDrive into one of the columns
      3. Insert the "Microsoft Forms" web part into the other column to embed your form
      4. Send people the link to the SP page instead of to the video or the form

      Thanks Marc Mroz

I Realised it was on the road map after I posted and thanks for the suggestions.

I have also added my vote so thanks for providing that for me

  • I think you should not expect this for the foreseeable future, at least not until other files types in SharePoint can have embedded forms. You can accomplish some of the same thing with a SharePoint page that has an embedded Video and a Form in it.
