I came in here wondering if anyone has found a workaround for this, and doesn't sound like there is one yet? I find it especially" special" that I can feed the PowerPoint dialog box a SharePoint URL and it tells me it's not recognized. MS Forms doesn't seem to like SharePoint based video URLs either.

I’ve noticed they do this when there is a new product better suited for these needs, but instead of calling the ability to filter SharePoint documents by video file type (because that is literally all “stream on SharePoint is) why not say stream is being sunset and creating a migration tool to move content into MS learning, MS teams, etc.
I am so sick of having to stop evetything and re-publish our entire content library every time Microsoft decides to destroy their own products lol. - kjmeyerAug 04, 2023Brass Contributor
