Highlighted Content inline player -- when are we going to get this???
When can we expect to get the inline player in the Highlighted Content web part? This is absolutely pivotal yet basic functionality. We are having to do an incredible amount of manual work and fielding a lot of complaints from our employees (both those who work with videos and those who simply view videos) because this isn't available yet.
Playlists, which are 100% manual, aren't an option as they can only be embedded on the site on which the List is created and we need to display the same videos on multiple sites.

Inline playback for Highlighted content (carousel and filmstrip) will start rollout on 1st Nov and you should get the latest updates by 15th Nov.- According to the Stream Roadmap this is supposed to start rolling out in October. So it should be coming soon for all of us who are excited about all the problems it is going to solve. Look for item 98091.

Based on the track record, I have no reason to believe that it will actually start rolling out in October. I'd appreciate it if someone who works for Microsoft would let us know if it's something that will ever roll out.
