The Sharepoint department have everything running smoothly, but if everything is working, that means they are redundant. The only solution is to keep coming up with ideas (regardless of how bad they make the product). Being target driven, the company expects a delivery date, so regardless of whether it works or not, they must rollout on that date.

Microsoft probably feel they must keep developing new ideas, regardless of whether they work or are useful, to keep customers. However, they are making life difficult for everyone and it’s only a matter of time before another company comes up with something simple and effective that will pull customers away from the nightmare of Microsoft.

Surely the users of this product aren’t requesting theses changes? You wouldn’t ask a car designer to put 10 extra steps in before you could change gear.
