Features in new Stream
Greetings,
At our organization, we love the Classic MS Stream. Like often mentioned, it is a very simple, UX friendly tool, aka a 'Enterprise Youtube' anyone can use.
- We can classify videos in a custom folder structure.
- We can link (those) online videos in a PowerPoint document which afterwards we share with tens and tens of users through live presentations in MS Teams (that way the UX is flawless, there is no lag, no need to share huuuuge .pptx files, etc.)
- The content is also compressed while we upload the videos.
I've watched 3 times Microsoft's video and read over and over again the documentation about the new way this is supposed to work on Sharepoint.
Does someone knows please what and how of the 3 points can be done on Sharepoint, the same or similar way it was working with MS Stream Classic?
Or if there is perhaps a dev roadmap for such future improvements?
Many thanks!

I have the same questions. One of the biggest benefits to Stream Classic was that it compressed the videos for viewing. In Stream SharePoint, it tries to stream the full quality version, which doesn't work for a lot of our 4K videos. This seems to defeat a large purpose of Stream. Am I missing something?
