"Copy Link" on Videos doesn't copy the full link containing "stream.aspx"

Has anyone experienced this?

Copy Link on videos provides a link just to the SharePoint location of the file and it doesn't contain "stream.aspx". When opened internally, it opens just fine but when link is shared on an external site (still for internal users) it opens as blank screen.

For comparison, when you open the video in SP, the link does contain the "stream.aspx"..
