Caption/transcription generation issues?
garrettbronner Afternoon adding my voice to the intermittent issue of videos uploaded in Stream not producing transcripts and captions. Videos are uploaded as Mp4s and the transcription option is selected. Error message appears and never goes away or allows reprocessing. We have received multiple reports on the issue and the only solution I can find is to have the user reupload the video to allow it to reprocess, then select transcription again. As it is not best advice to ask users to repeat their work for a function to be properly enabled, what other way can we advise to come to a solution? We have also tried other browsers and cleared cache.
The error message states "We're unable to generate transcripts or captions for this file."
Edit- all audio is clear and crisp in videos.
- I could certainly understand that. It is not the case in these videos. They have all been hosted in our recording studio so the audio is at its best. I have tested all the videos too and I can hear fine. Its a strange issue!
