In regard to:

"The first 10 GB/day ingested into the Analytics tier is free for 31 days under the Analytics logs plan."

First time I hear about this. Do you have any documentation referring this benefit?

      paciorkowiec20​  It is part of 31-day free trail. This is for ingestion. Please note that it will only be applicable for first month. I normally won't include this while preparing bill of material as most cases customer might have already consumed this free trail. that is why I just mentioned it and not included this in calculation. But 3 months retention is free always.
