Praise within the Office 365 profile experience is being cancelled
We have decided to cancel the ‘Praise’ feature in Delve. The feature initially rolled out to Office 365 First Release customers, but has been pulled back, due to customer feedback and decision to divert engineering resources to other aspects of the product.
The feature is now listed as “Cancelled” on the Office 365 Public Roadmap. Please let me know in comments on this thread if you have any further questions and I'll address what I can.

Might be a good idea to update the Blog Post to remove the section on Praise:

I can't see any reasons for retiring such a well designed and necessary feature. I liked everything about it: simple yet complete, efficient, and most of all useful to give recognition in a meaningful way. I regret the decision, which forces me to go back to a mail-based solution offering an experience nowhere near to what Praise did. I hope one day we'll see the retirement of the retirement annoucement.

Robert hi! we are a Microsoft partner and have developed StarMeUp. SMU is a platform to clearly communicate organizational values and recognize employees who live up to them every day. We have Yammer integration and are considering Teams now, we also have integration with other comm/collab tools, feel free to ping me if you would like to know more.

- Mark-KashmanGold ContributorA few thoughts:
1) Praise in Yammer is an option.
2) Try MS Teams feature "Office Drama" - you can add your own message that is visible to the whole team.
3) A custom note via email with a person's manger on Cc never hurts.- Robert Panduru

Thank you, Mark. 'Office Drama' is a nice match for the retired 'Praise'. :)
- John WynneSilver ContributorAre there any plans to bring Praise into the overall functionality of Office 365, perhaps through Microsoft Teams which would seem to be the most natural home for this functionality? Thanks!
- Mark-KashmanGold ContributorThere are no plans at this time.
