MicrosoftI can't see any reasons for retiring such a well designed and necessary feature. I liked everything about it: simple yet complete, efficient, and most of all useful to give recognition in a meaningful way. I regret the decision, which forces me to go back to a mail-based solution offering an experience nowhere near to what Praise did. I hope one day we'll see the retirement of the retirement annoucement.

Delve Praise is being retired on March 8th, 2017.
A few thoughts:
1) Praise in Yammer is an option.
2) Try MS Teams feature "Office Drama" - you can add your own message that is visible to the whole team.
3) A custom note via email with a person's manger on Cc never hurts.
