What do you do for a living?

Hi all, I'm pursuing an economics degree at the university of Central Florida currently. I thought it would be a good idea to start learning how to use Microsoft excel and other programs because I figured I would be using these a lot whenever I graduate and get a job. My question however is I'm not really sure what I want to do with my degree. I like trading stocks and options a lot and would like to do something involving the stock market ideally, but what do you guys do for a living? And what programs do you use for your job such as excel? What programs are popular with different companies as far as accounting and stuff like that. I'm just trying to get a read on what programs companies are using these days. Any responses are appreciated. I'm very curious and want to learn a lot Thanks!
