upgrade MCSA 2003
Hi guys, apologies if this has already been asked and answered, I've been unable to find any direct info on my situation.
I acquired the MCSA 2003 cert back in 2008 and would like to get back training and learning within the MS environment. Is there a path for me to upgrade this certification ? I have read that exam '70-417' was recently retired, is there an alternative path I might be able to take ?
Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you

I would strongly recommend considering AZ-104. I was in your position approximately 2 years ago and updated with Windows Server 2016 exams and now they are all retired. Most people will not recommend anything specific, but I know this path will help you since I have the same retired credential.
You might also be able to take the exam at reduced price before the end of the year.
You can learn for free at Microsoft Learn.
Good Luck to you.

Dean_Gross Hi Dean, thank you for your reply. Up until January of 2021 there was an https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/exams/70-417 specifically for this purpose. I'm wondering if something might be announced soon as an alternative. Given that the MCSA and MCSE never expire there should be a method for holders to pick up and update their certifications again without starting from scratch.
Thank you
