You should ask on the Training Services Partner forum where you found the post, or maybe on https://trainingsupport.microsoft.com/en-us/iltvilt/forum
The recording policy has changed and many MCTs and TSPs are unaware of this change. You can now record but the rules are extremely strict i.e., can only be made available to students who attended the course and only for 6 months. It is your responsibility to secure the recordings.
Your circumstances appear to me to breach the rules as you are providing recordings to students who did not attend the session.
Further: As part of the changed policy, MCTs can decline to be recorded.

Also, the MCT Program Agreement which says you cannot record will be updated in the new year as it is out of date in this any other things
