MCSE Core Infrastructure actual required exams

Hello,

As per https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/mcse-core-infrastructure#certification-exam-disclaimers
it mentions first that in order to earn this certification, someone has to pass either MCSA 2012 OR MCSA 2016 and ONE of the following 5 exams : 70-744, 70-745, 70-413, 70-414, 70-537.
After a couple of lines down it mentions that only 3 exams are required: Required exams: 70-744, 70-745, 70-413
And in the diagram of certification details it mentions : ( MCSA 2012 OR MCSA 2016 ) + 70-744, + 70-745 + 70-413

Please help as i am very confused about what exam should i take on earning this certification.

I currently own MCSA 2012 among others for this certification path.

If I pass exam 70-413 ONLY will I earn the MSCE: Core Infratstructure certification?

Thank you in advance,

Stefanos Lymperopoulos

  • s_lympe You need to pass ONE of the mentioned exams. Be aware though, that all the mentioned exams retire on January 31st. That means that you pass the exam before that date you'll still become MCSE, but the value of the certification is not as high as the new rolebased certifications in cloudbased products.
