Does Azure AD supports on Spring Framework (Not with Spring BOOT)

Dear Colleagues,

We are using a Spring Framework / MVC ( but not Spring Boot).  We planning to extended our system to utilize Azure AD for authentication instead of my own DB. Is this possible without upgrade to Spring Boot Could you please suggest
