Upgrade from Defender for Office 365 to Microsoft 365 Business Premium
My client is using Microsoft 365 Business Standard and plans to use Defender for Office Plan 1 and Defender for Business. Later on he wants to upgrade to Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
I can upgrade Microsoft 365 Business Standard to Microsoft 365 Business Premium. What about the Defender for Office Plan 1? As its intergrated in the Microsoft 365 Business Premium he will no longer has use of the licences. Is it possible to suspend and cancel the Defender for Office Plan 1 earlier ?
- once you applied the M365 Business Premium that include the Defender Plan 1, you can remove the Office plan 1 assigned to the users and cancel the subscription to it
- thats good. So do we have to open a support case by microsoft for the cancellation ?
- No you can do it from O365 admin portal from the billing blade
