Using user profile hire date in Search Results Web Part

Hello,

I am trying to get the user hire date and presenting in a Search Results Web Part in a SharePoint Online tenant.

In on-prem SharePoint, we had a crawled property SPS-HireDate which we could then map to a managed property and use it in Search Results or Content Search Web Parts.

From what I see, in SharePoint Online, there is no crawled property mapped to the user profile Hire Date property.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Miguel Isidoro

  • Hello,

The problem was exactly that. None of the user profiles had the property filled.

    Thanks,

    Miguel

  • I am wondering if this is not caused by the fact that the hire date may be empty in all user profiles for the tenant. Must at least one user profile have a valid date in the user profile Hire Date property so that the property gets crawled?
