How do copy an email attachment from O365 Group email to O365 Groups Files?
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to save the attachment from an email in a O365 Groups mailbox to the O365 Groups Files repository? It seem like the only way to accomplish this is to save it down to a PC dirve first and then upload it.
We're currently working on allowing saving a document received to the current group's files. We're also looking to expand this concept to saving a document received in the inbox or in any group to any group the user is a member of.

Nadia-Fortini is there any update on the status of saving email attachments? I am not looking for a time, just wondering it is still being done.
This was already implemented a while ago :-)
If you have received an email with an attachment in a Group, check the Save to OneDrive option, from there you can directly save it to the Group files or you can even browse for another Group.
- Good stuff Nadia. Please don;t forget Kiosk users as part of this, they currently don't get the existing attachment integartion due to it's links to OneDrive, so the experince is more poor that it needs to be.
The easy way to do this is to synchronize the document library to the PC using the OneDrive for Business (old) sync client. You can then "save as" an email attachment to the local copy of the document library and the OneDrive for Business sync client will synchronize the attachment back to the group document library. Quick. Simple. Easy.

Nice workaround but not a solution.
SharePoint libraries and Group libraries should be directly available from within Office Apps.
That would be great and efficient integration and collaboration.
- davidpetree1Iron ContributorI wonder if you can use Microsoft Flow for this. I know I have used Flow for a regular email, so when an email comes in with an attachment, the attachment is automatically uploaded to a SharePoint Document library.
I bet you can do the same thing with Office 365 groups.
Are you on First release? I recommend you check out Microsoft Flow. You should see a new app called Flow on your app launcher with all your other apps.- Ronald_BondBrass ContributorDavid:
That's a pretty good idea. I'll take a look at Flow.
