Additional security groups
Does anyone know if its possible to make additional security groups for use in an Office365 Group?

Technically is possible, but not recomendable to change default security configuration in a modern SPO site....the reason is just by design: Microsoft is "trying to hide" security configuration in modern team sites...but as I said, you can do it
jcgonzalezmartin is right but you still can. which will leave you as a administrator with 2 dashboards to arrange the security one for groups and one for SharePoint
