Retention after deletion

We currently have no retention or deletion policy set for copilot chats. I'm aware that these are now seperate from teams chats.

We are considering setting deletion to 6 months but this may take time to proceed through.

If users manually delete chat logs in the meantime how long are they retained in any form by default?
