Problem that copilot is unable to see all my emails in outlook
Your evidence rules out the local Outlook index: Outlook desktop and web find all twelve messages, while two Copilot clients return the same subset. Copilot’s generated list is not an exhaustive mailbox-search result, so use Outlook Search whenever completeness matters. For diagnosis, narrow the prompt to one sender, exact subject, and explicit start and end dates, then note whether the same messages remain missing. Confirm those items are in the primary Inbox rather than Archive, Junk, a shared mailbox, or an encrypted message, because Copilot scenarios have mailbox and protection limitations. With a personal Outlook.com account, there is no user-accessible Copilot mailbox reindex or ingestion diagnostic, and reinstalling Windows cannot change cloud retrieval. Submit feedback from the failing response with the account type, exact prompt, message subjects, timestamps, screenshots, and the working Outlook-search comparison. If the discrepancy remains after 24 hours, open Microsoft consumer support and request a service-side investigation.
