1. Check the interface settings: Open Microsoft 365 Copilot and click the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
In the “Quick Access Toolbar” or “Ribbon” settings, check if the paperclip icon is hidden.
If it is hidden, manually add the paper clip icon to the toolbar.
2. Reset the interface layout: Open Microsoft 365 Copilot, click “File” > “Options” > “Customize Ribbon”. Click “Reset” > “Reset All Customizations” to restore the default interface layout.
3. Disable Add-ons: Open Microsoft 365 Copilot, click “File” > “Options” > “Add-ons”.
Select “COM Add-ons” in the “Manage” drop-down menu and click “Go”.
Disable all add-ons, restart Copilot and check if the issue is resolved.
4. Update Microsoft 365 apps: Open any Microsoft 365 app (Word or Excel).
Click File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
Make sure all Microsoft 365 apps have been updated to the latest version.
5. Repair Office: Open Control Panel > Programs and Features, find Microsoft Office, right-click and select Change > Repair. “Repair”.
Wait for the repair to complete and restart your computer.
6. Use Clean Start: Press Win + R, type msconfig and enter.
In the “Services” tab, check “Hide all Microsoft services” and click “Disable all”.
In the “Startup” tab, click “Open Task Manager” and disable all startup items.
Restart your computer and check if the problem is resolved.
7. Contact Microsoft Support: If the issue is still not resolved, submit the issue through Microsoft Support.
Provide detailed error messages and screenshots to quickly diagnose the problem.
