Microsoft Copilot Enterprise Pilot - How To
Hi,
I work for an Italian Business Advisory Company (~150 employees).
We use Microsoft Office 365.
I would try Microsoft Copilot to understand on the job how this technology could improve our performances.
From website I don't find answer to the following questions:
1- Is there a trial version?
2- What do we need to do to install Copilot in our systems and start using it?
3- What are the purchase license conditions?
I hope someone could help me
Thanks

Hi apiva19, folks,
I wasn't that happy when I found out that Copilot wasn't widely available. But I took the opportunity to check learn.microsoft.com. Now, I understand that Microsoft 365 Copilot is not a ON/OFF switch. We need to be very well prepared and create a Center of Excellence, clean documents and take care of the security.
May I recommend to explore the following Microsoft's learning paths ?
Get started with Microsoft 365 Copilot
MS-012 Prepare your organization for Microsoft 365 Copilot
Prepare for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Part 1 – Copilot design and prerequisites
Prepare for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Part 2 – Administrative roles and Tenant health - Training
Prepare for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Part 3 – Threat protection - Training
Prepare for Microsoft 365 Copilot: Part 4 – Protecting sensitive data - Training
Also, there are couple of good presentations at the Microsoft Ignite. Here is my session catalog filter.
I wish you all a great journey with Copilot.
Kind regards,

- colonel_claypooIron ContributorAre we still in agreement that nobody in an enterprise can poc/trial Copilot for M365 without making the substantial 300 license investment up front?
- ssieber_promxBrass Contributorso currently the GA date is 1st of November. this date is valid for Customers with an Enterprise Agreement or Customers with Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 Plans.
Plus, I quote:
"Must have a minimum of 500 deployed Microsoft 365 licenses with 50% monthly active usage across apps. and:
Minimum license purchase is 300 seats at 30$ per user / mo"
So currently the access seems to be limited to enterprise customers. I do struggle with a similar setup. Maybe we just need to be more patience.
You can use Bing Chat Enterprise with the E3/E5 License already, also via copilot.microsoft.com and Copilot Studio is currently free to use with a trial.
Hope that helps - SharmaNeerajIron Contributor1- Is there a trial version?
Ans : No
2- What do we need to do to install Copilot in our systems and start using it?
Ans : Please refer https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/microsoft-365-copilot-overview
3- What are the purchase license conditions?
Minimum 300 Microsoft 365 Copilot Licenses on top of Microsoft 365 E3/E5 License.
For further specific details pls reach out to your microsoft representative .
i coming month this 300 license limit may get lower.. - apiva19Copper ContributorWhat is the relation between Bing Chat Enterprise and Copilot?

Of course, I understand your surprise, but currently the name is unified, and your number of licenses allows you to use only in this area:
Our vision to bring Microsoft Copilot to everyone, and more | Bing Search Blog
"Our efforts to simplify the user experience and make Copilot more accessible to everyone starts with Bing, our leading experience for the web. Beginning today, Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise are becoming Copilot, with commercial data protection enforced when any eligible user is signed in with Microsoft Entra ID. Over time, our vision is to expand Copilot to any Entra ID user at no additional cost—so wherever and whenever an employee signs into Copilot with their work account they will get commercial data protection."
