Copilot for Word

Hi There,

I've been playing around with Copilot for Microsoft 365 for quite sometime and I just have a quick question in regards to Copilot for Microsoft 365. Lets say I'm using Copilot for word and I ask Copilot to create a document for me and I review it and I click on regenerate because I'm not happy about the result that it created. So, my question is how many times can I ask Copilot to create new document for me? Is there a limit for that? For instance, I can click on it for 5 times and it will give me a different content everytime and beyond that it will return back to content which it created for me the first time. So, please let me know the limit here.

  • What Copilot itself has to say

"you can regenerate content multiple times if you’re not satisfied with the initial results. There isn’t a strict limit on the number of times you can ask Copilot to create new content. Each time you click “regenerate,” Copilot will attempt to provide a different version based on your initial request.

However, it’s important to note that while Copilot aims to generate varied content, the diversity of the outputs can depend on the specificity and complexity of your request. If you find that the regenerated content starts to feel repetitive, you might want to adjust your initial prompt or provide more specific instructions to guide Copilot towards the desired outcome."
