Copilot edit not available in word (desktop and browser)

We have recently been added to the Early Access Program. I understand that Copilot is still in preview and all functionality is not yet available. One such limitation that we have noticed is that copilot in Word does not have an option to edit. When selecting text, copilot prompts to visualize as a table. There is currently no option for editing a passage. 

I know that I have seen this functionality in MS promotional videos and also in https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/copilot-word 

I am wondering:

1. Is anyone else experiencing this? 
2. Anyone aware of any workarounds?
