Recover a lost note

I have just bought and new tablet and downloaded OneNote on it. I have taken a note before sign up with my Microsoft account. Now I have signed up, but I cannot find my new note anymore. I tried to unsign, but I cannot find it anyway. Where is it? Thanks in advance!

    I am probably super late but to unsigned you should:
    1. in OneNote go to the 3 points in the upper right corner of the screen
    2. Select Configuration
    3. Go to Accounts
    4. Sign out

    Something like this happend to me too. I created notes today in my local OneNote for Windows 10 and I didn't realize that there was a message that OneNote wasn't able to sync my notes.
    It presented a Sign in button that doesn't do anything..

    So I sign out and sign in again.. but my notes taken while it was offline are not present!!

    Were you able to recover the notes? How? Thanks! Cecilia
