Problem sending from shared mailbox in office 365 through Outlook 2016.
- Sep 19, 2018
Hello Ste Pap,
I actually am not sure powershell is the way to go.
I think what is happening is actually isolated to outlook and selected the user (assuming you did the permissions right).
From outlook, rather than typing in the address, try to find the user listed in the from button (click on it and go in and select the user to send from.
If that works than you have a cached problem, you can start typing the address, highlight the autofill and delete it.
Additionally I have also seen a new profile solving this problem.
Goodluck, and let me know if either option helps!

That is great to hear!
To address your other question in case some poor soul comes across this googling, there is no longer a stored "cache" file like an nk2 file in outlook. So you either have to clean the objects manually, do a completely new profile and profile name (or fresh install like you did), or run a script like this one - https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/Clearing-AutoComplete-and-92b8d32a#content
Glad you are up and working!
