Onenote PDF not searchable

My PDFs aren't searchable, even days after upload. This happens with both Powerpoint converted PDFs and Word converted PDFs. I upload many pages at a time, so I expect the search function to take some time, but even after a week it still isn't working. How long am I expected to wait before I can search the PDF?
