This morning my Onenote is working again. I don't need a work around anymore. It looks like something change again last night. Maybe the solution to the problem is to wait a few days and it will fix itself.

Hello the one note app is working again after a recent Microsoft update

I can open and close it from any screen now

Kathleen686 Thanks for letting me know. I did the same this morning and it appears to be working fine. At least Microsoft fixed it!!!!! it just took too long!!!!!
