OneNote 365 on Win10 crashes every time I try to search the whole notebook

This issue started about a month ago.  Before that, I had no issues with searching the notebook.

I can search a page without problems, but if I try to search the whole notebook, it now crashes every time, as soon as I go to enter the 3rd character in the search field.

Below is what I've tried and none of these steps worked:

- Rebooted computer many times.

- Cleared OneNote's cache

- Re-indexed OneNote

- Uninstalled and Re-installed OneNote.

I rely heavily one OneNote for all of my notes and case studies at work. This is a major issue for me.

It's time consuming trying to figure out which page I need to go to to search the page which does work.  The search function always worked fine until recently.

Any ideas?
