linking xlsx and pptx files - issue when stored in onedrive or sharepoint

Hello there,

i have an issue when trying to link e.g. a graph from a xlsx file to a pptx file and both documents are stored localy there is no issue with an "automatic update" of the links.But as soon these files are stored in Onedrive or in Sharepoint the activation of link "automatic update" is not possible.

Could anyone provide any solution?
