manoth_msft Thanks for the very clear and informative session. Will there be an option to have multiple servicing profiles e.g. to create multiple update rings? Or hopefully manage other channels also?
What is your recommendation how to manage those installations that don't fit to the single profile model?

Hi, happy to hear that you liked the session. To your questions: As of today, we can only service one update channel (Monthly Enterprise), while we can accept all channels as "input". But the outcome is always a device on MEC. The service is automatically generating waves, so not all devices will move on day 1. This is the current state (early March).
We have features on the roadmap which will address your scenarios:
- Allow admins to set a group of devices which will go first and another one which will go last. All devices in between will be scheduled by the service.
- Allow admins to also have Servicing profiles for devices which should be on the Semi-annual cadence.
But we don't have an ETA for those features. I know this is not fully answering your questions aside from "yes, we will bring these features to the service at some point".
