Excel blank screen / unresponsive when authenticating sharepoint online data source

Oh god yes - its driving me bonkers- anyone know how to fix this?
Jeapster I am having the same in 2020, could not find nothing about, wondering if the only solution is to roll back.
- I’ve found a workaround! I uninstalled office 365 x86 and installed office 365 x64. It now works perfectly! I think the issue was caused by the mashup shared components being a mix of 32bit for office and 64bit for power BI!
