Copy SharePoint OneNote notebook locally

We are trying to utilize SharePoint and the document library. We are unable to copy Notebooks stored in a SharePoint site's document library and are synced locally onto a workstation. OneNote creates a link, not a Notebook. We can copy in the web, but not locally.

Anyone have any ideas here?
