Can't find deleted OneNote page

I helped a teacher after school yesterday to find a page she deleted in OneNote for Windows 10. I looked everywhere - version history (didn't work since page was deleted), OneNote for 2016 recycle bin (was empty), Sharepoint recycle bin (nothing from yesterday was listed), the deleted notes in OneNote for Windows 10 under the View tab (was empty)... I have no idea what to tell her.. it appears to be gone! What suggestions do you have?
