Published retention label policies only showing in Outlook and not in Word or Excel application
We have published retention labels in M365 from compliance center. The labels are appearing in Outlook emails. But when we open any document from Word or Excel or create a new one, we don't fine the labels there. Please advise.
Hi javedhakim - retention labels currently do not have the ability to be shown in office applications. We would love to add it but need the Office team to prioritize it. ChristianJBergstrom, the retention labels are showing in the SharePoint sites but when we open any document in the desktop word app we don't find the labels to apply or change.
