OneDrive "Move to" SharePoint sites and its effect on retention policies

I am looking for answers on OneDrive “Move To” feature which allows a user to move  content from OneDrive to SharePoint etc. from compliance perspective

 

Questions are

1. What if a retention policy is attached to the user’s OneDrive ? Will it honor the OneDrive Retention or the target SharePoint Retention ? What if OneDrive had a longer retention that SharePoint (hypothetically)
2. What is the behavior with Retention labels ? Do retention labels carry along with the content ?
