Master list of recommended actions for Microsoft Secure Score?
Hello everyone,
I'm with a MSP and we have multiple customers for which we would like to implement a recommendation or a baseline in regards to the Microsoft Secure Score. Something like, these are our minimums that each client should have if you will.
Our current issue is each client seems to have a different list of recommended actions, and each of the weights for those recommended actions depend on what customer you're looking at. One customer has 27 items on their list, and another has 31 items. The customer mentioned with 31 items shows weights that aren't the same as another customer with 31 items on their list, which is no where close to the customer with 27 items on their list.
While this makes sense when looking at an individual customer (their Secure Score is going to be dependent upon what they've implemented and possibly their licensing), it's going to be a royal pain to go through each of our clients to come up with a minimum "you should do this" list because the list will need to be tailor made for each client.
Does Microsoft have a master list of recommended actions and relative weights for each action? Heck, even if it was just a list of actions, that would get us further than we are currently. This would allow us to fairly easily create a minimum standard to implement across each client, as well as a recommended standard as a, this is what you should shoot for.
