Labelling of scheduled meetings

Hi all,

from the MS Documentation, I see the following here:

--------------------

For manual sensitivity labeling for scheduled meetings, the following licenses provide user rights:

  • Microsoft 365 E5/A5/G5
  • Office 365 E5/A5

--------------------

If we have only the E5 Compliance add-on, If we set a label to automatically apply to emails, will this work for meeting invitations in Outlook? Will the label be applied if it meets the criteria of the policy? or it will ignore these kind of emails because they have meetings attached?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Andres.

  • Andres_Iniesta Here we go!

Sensitivity labeling will soon be available for meetings in Outlook.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 98924

    When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out in mid-February and expect rollout to be complete by late March. Timeline as below:

    • Feb-23: Outlook Web
    • Mar-23 : Outlook Mac
    • Mar-23: Outlook Win32

How this will affect your organization:

    Pre-requisite - E5 subscription

With this update, in the SCC portal, once admins configure sensitivity labels for meetings, users can apply sensitivity labels to meetings and protect its content.

In Outlook Web (OWA), Mac and Win32, users can apply sensitivity label to meetings.
