Hi, I have configured a DLP policy in compliance.microsoft.com to provide a tooltip with override if certain keywords are found in the email. The policy works as intended in Outlook for Web, but ...

Hi Admaine,
Yes, that seems to be exactly my situation, except it has never worked for me. My case with MS is still open. Now they are asking me to use a "problem steps recorder" to provide them with more info. I will post here when I learn more.

RichardWOJR - any update from MS support? its frustrating that how unreliable DLP policy publishing at outlook.
- mevaibhav831345Mar 31, 2022Copper ContributorThat's well documented (although not ideal). I am still testing and juggling with multiple scenario where policy tip is inconsistent (custom sensitivity type unable to generate policy tip on outlook 2019) and in some cases DLP policy not updated on random set of device from couple of months so result in unexpected UX.
- RichardWOJRMar 31, 2022Copper ContributorIn my case, the problem was that I was using rule conditions that don't yet work with Outlook desktop clients 2013 and later. I was using "Content contains", but I was also using "Sender domain is" and "Recipient email contains". The only two conditions that work in Outlook Desktop clients 2013 and later are "Content contains", and "Content is shared". I only want the rule to apply to one of my sender domains, and only if the email is bound for a specific subdomain. Bummer.
