Deprecating Symantec SSL certiticates

It is known that Google and Mozilla are deprecating Symantec SSL certiticates soon in 2018.

However, I cannot find any official announcements from Microsoft about whether Internet Explorer or Edge will follow the same. Does anyone have any news on this? Many thanks.
