Content Explorer (Labeled PDF Doc Discovery)

We are not able to see any of our labeled PDF documents in Content Explorer. Has anybody come across this issue before / know a work around that can account for the PDF documents with sensitivity labels applied?

When labeling via the unified labeling client (right click on document in file explorer --> classify & protect), Content Explorer is discovering everything except for PDFs.
